Spend our time
Ticking bombs
Lying alone
Tricking ourselves,
believing we're calm

Lie in wait, 
We're all a mistake
Fight the power
The steps we must take

Raised to believe we can raze this society
But we've been trained to fail in a burning blaze
What do we do when we don't fit in?
Create another scar, split some more skin? 
How do we deal with these odds and ends 
When everything we believe is forced to bend?
